A one-of-a-kind Ferrari Enzo Maquette, designed by Pininfarina, was unveiled on June 30 at the China Overseas Plaza in the Zhenru Subcenter of Putuo district, Shanghai. This exclusive model, the only one in the world, will be on public display for free until the end of August.

The Ferrari Enzo, originating in 2002, is a milestone in automotive design, named after the brand's founder. It represents a pinnacle of engineering, integrating Formula One technology into a road car. With its carbon fiber cockpit, naturally aspirated V12 engine, and track-level aerodynamics, the Enzo has set the benchmark for subsequent flagship supercars.

"Pininfarina aims to make design accessible to the public," said Li Hanqing, general manager of Pininfarina China. The showcase aims to allow viewers, especially young people, to witness the transformation from concept to reality and appreciate the beauty of design, Li said.

Last April, Pininfarina, the century-old Italian design powerhouse, established its China headquarters in the Zhenru Subcenter. "With great support from Putuo, we are opening doors to share our design with the community," Li added.

In late September, Putuo, in collaboration with Pininfarina and China Overseas Commercial Properties, will host an Italian cultural design week. Featuring an Italian food festival, a segment of the Shanghai International Light Festival and a waterfront theater festival, the event will integrate Italian innovation, craftsmanship, and art into the vibrant life of the Zhenru Subcenter.
