The International Exhibition of Senior Care, Rehabilitation Medicine and Healthcare (AID) Shanghai 2026 is in full swing at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, with 19 companies from Putuo District participating, an increase of 16 from last year.
Spanning over 60,000 square meters, the expo brings together more than 600 domestic and international brands and is expected to attract over 100,000 visitors. The event spotlights a wide range of smart, human-centered and localized solutions for aging populations, covering intelligent companionship, safety monitoring and barrier-free mobility.
Putuo’s state-owned senior care enterprise Guokang Elderly Care Service is showcasing its smart health and elderly care system, including a self-developed digital information management platform and a full-scenario contactless monitoring system using multiple smart devices.
Another Putuo firm, Fuxing Companion, has unveiled a domestically produced accessible vehicle designed for people with limited mobility. Featuring spacious wheelchair storage, a lift system and a rotating, height-adjustable seat, the vehicle will soon be deployed in Putuo’s public welfare elderly travel services.
Infinity Wellness, also from Putuo, has drawn crowds with its AI companion robot. Equipped with advanced large language models and long-term memory, the cute-looking device can naturally interact with users while recording daily routines, meal preferences and habits to offer personalized companionship.
According to on-site staff, the robot has multiple safety features, including a dedicated SOS emergency button on top. It can also connect with millimeter-wave radar fall detectors and sleep monitors to enable real-time health and behavioral tracking.
The expo runs through June 6.
