The Changshou Road Subdistrict Immigrants Integration Service Station has kicked off operations inside the Hong Shou Fang Party Service Center, offering exit-entry policy consultation, accommodation registration guidance and other services to overseas personnel in nearby office buildings and industrial parks. The station serves as a convenient window for foreign talent to learn about policies and integrate into local life.
The Exit-Entry Administration of the Putuo Public Security Sub-bureau has extended its services for overseas personnel from traditional counters to commercial office buildings. During the station’s trial operation, many expatriates have come for consultations.
The service station currently provides six major functions for overseas personnel: accommodation registration consultation, visa and permanent residence policy consultation, legal awareness outreach, cultural exchange, entrepreneurship guidance, and livelihood services.
The Hong Shou Fang Party Service Center, renovated from a traditional Shikumen (stone-gate) building, covers a total area of over 1,000 square meters and integrates functions including Party building in office buildings, cultural empowerment, business support and talent services.
The center has already launched a series of activities. Focusing on cultural exchange, it has invited painter Wang Jiafang, writer Chen Jiayong and others to have face-to-face dialogues with office workers. Focusing on enterprise development, it has held brand events such as a high-quality development matchmaking meeting for bulk commodity trading and “Get Together Thursday,” providing a platform for supply-demand matching and resource sharing between businesses and organizations.
The launch of the immigrants service station further enriches the service offerings of the Party service center and fills a gap in overseas personnel service coverage in the commercial office buildings of Changshou Road Subdistrict.
