TOP Central Park’s new musical water fountain to become a weekend regular

May 12, 2026 |

The newly launched musical water screen fountain at TOP Central Park proved a huge hit with citizens during the May Day holiday and will now be performed regularly on weekends.

Located on a 6,000squaremeter open water area on the south side of TOP Central Park, the “Sea Blossoms” musical fountain can accommodate 500 to 800 spectators at close range. With 389 nozzles precisely synchronized with music, lasers, and projections, the fountain creates visual effects of blooming flowers and shifting water screens. The tallest water column can reach 50 meters, complemented by a water screen measuring 28 meters wide and 10 meters high. Surroundsound speakers ensure a highquality audiovisual experience from any spot along the lake.

From now on, the fountain will perform regularly on weekends. The schedule is as follows: two shows every Friday at 19:00 and 20:00; on Saturdays and Sundays, an additional nonlighting show will take place at 15:30, while the two evening shows remain at 19:00 and 20:00. Each show consists of three musical pieces and lasts between 10 and 15 minutes. Performances will be suspended on days with rain, strong winds, or other severe weather.

As a core ecological landmark in the Taopu area, TOP Central Park is steadily becoming an “allday” leisure destination. With the launch of regular weekend fountain shows, this “urban art living room” will continue to treat citizens to a feast of water and light every weekend.
