Shanghai's Putuo district has made significant progress in implementing its newly revised guidelines for improving government services.

Introduced in August, the guidelines extend public access to government information beyond traditional service centers to communities, parks, and stations, bringing services closer to residents.

A key improvement is the stronger interaction between the government and the public through regular policy livestreams and lectures, helping residents gain a clearer understanding of new measures.

The district is also leveraging technology, adopting AI-powered systems for intelligent policy tagging and quick information searches.

Putuo has further introduced services for international residents, coordinating with the International Services Shanghai portal to assist expats and foreign-funded enterprises with clearer policies and more streamlined procedures.
