Putuo District hosted the TOP Camping Starlight Night · E-Carnival at TOP Central Park this past weekend, creating a dynamic space that blended esports, camping, live performances, and a market.
Designed with the theme of "flowing landscapes," the 500,000-square-meter TOP Central Park features a calligraphy-inspired spatial layout and a multi-layered green landscape system. Leveraging these unique elements, the carnival set up two open camping areas and three stamp-collection points, offering citizens options for both lively engagement and peaceful relaxation.
The highlight of the event was the two-day Honor of Kings National Championship preliminary and regional selection matches. The tournament attracted over 300 participants, more than 10,000 onsite spectators, and surpassed 1 million online views.
As night fell, the drone light show provided by HighGreat became the grand finale, with fleets forming classic esports characters and symbols in the sky. As a low-altitude economy enterprise settling in Taopu Smart City, HighGreat has established a 2,000-square-meter drone training base within TOP Central Park.
The facility includes exhibition areas, hands-on operation experiences, outdoor formation training, modern technology classrooms, and an e-sports interaction zone, offering immersive education and practical training in low-altitude technology for youth.
TOP Central Park is pioneering a new model of park operation that synergizes ecological, cultural, and economic value. In less than a year, it has already received 300,000 visitors. The park plans to host more large-scale events in the future, including a digital space themed hall project in collaboration with the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum.
