The 2025 Feishu China International Mathematics Symposium commenced at the Digital Innovation Center in Putuo District's Haina Town on August 4.
The prestigious event attracted world-renowned mathematicians, including 1994 Fields Medalist Efim Zelmanov and 2010 Fields Medalist Ngô Bảo Châu, who currently serves as Chair of the Mathematics Department at the University of Chicago.
Feishu China established its headquarters at the Haina Town Digital Innovation Center in September 2024, forming a dual-center structure alongside its European counterpart currently under preparation in Spain. Leveraging Feishu China's presence, Putuo District is actively developing a new hub for "AI + Mathematics." The symposium aims to create a high-level platform connecting global mathematicians and interdisciplinary experts, with discussions centered on fundamental mathematics research, educational reform, and cutting-edge industrial applications.
Since the beginning of this year, Feishu China has launched four postdoctoral research programs and joined the Putuo District Postdoctoral Innovation Base. The organization plans to further recruit top-tier postdoctoral talent worldwide to accelerate advancements in mathematical sciences.
During the recently concluded 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, Feishu China and Spanish National Research Council Mathematics Institute (ICMAT) jointly unveiled two elite international mathematics laboratories—the Fefferman Lab and the Hitchin–Ngo Lab—marking a significant milestone in global mathematical collaboration.
