With the launch of the “Heart of Zhenru” core land parcel, the H-shaped underground public vehicle passage in the Zhenru sub-center is nearing full completion.
This “underground artery,” which links 17 development plots and approximately 15,000 underground parking spaces within the core area, is a vital component in building Zhenru’s smart, multi-level urban transportation network.
From its initial conception, Zhenru Subcenter incorporated visionary underground planning within its central business district. The sophisticated three-tier subterranean system has been designed to create a seamless, all-weather transportation ecosystem that significantly alleviates surface traffic congestion while enhancing commercial vitality.
The carefully engineered space allocation includes commercial streets and sunken plazas on the first two underground levels, many directly integrated with metro stations to form comprehensive pedestrian networks, while parking facilities occupy the lower levels.
The H-shaped corridor functions as the system's backbone, horizontally connecting basement parking facilities across office and commercial blocks through its bidirectional four-lane configuration along Caoyang Road's central axis.
Spanning 4.9 kilometers with strategically placed access points (four entrances and five exits), this engineering marvel currently stands 75 percent complete, with full structural connectivity projected by year-end, excluding the section adjacent to the "Heart of Zhenru" development.
"This network revolutionizes urban mobility by enabling dynamic parking resource sharing across residential, commercial and office complexes," said Wang Jin, project manager at Zhenru Subcenter's Comprehensive Coordination Department. "Through optimized staggered-hour parking utilization, the system will dramatically reduce peak-period congestion for commuters, residents and visitors alike."
