Changshou Park is set to open for a trial run at 9am on January 13.

Located in the central urban area of Shanghai, this green space covers about 40,000 square meters and offers a rich array of greenery and family-friendly facilities, making it an ecological oasis for citizens to enjoy leisure time.

Changshou Park will be open 24 hours a day, with restrooms and hot water services available around the clock. To meet the relaxation needs of visitors, the renovated park features 49 spacious wooden benches distributed throughout. Additionally, the park includes various embedded seating areas and rest zones.

In the interactive play area, many innovative technological installations have been set up. For example, the height of the fountain linked to two bikes will vary based on the pedaling speed of visitors. The bubbles in the Bubble Forest will change according to the speed at which visitors step on designated spots. In the smart football area, children can score points by shooting at different colored sections of the goal.

In the colorful forest area of Changshou Park, the original auxiliary building has been preserved and renovated. The Putuo District Landscaping and City Appearance Bureau plans to transform this space into a café or book bar where citizens can relax.
