November 21, 2024 |

From November 22 to 25, the Fifth Yangtze River Delta International Cultural Industries Expo will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center. Putuo will set up the "Half Marathon Suzhou Creek· Amazing Putuo" exhibition area, focusing on four major sectors: digital advertising, film and performing arts, gaming and e-sports and creative design, showcasing the vibrant cultural and creative industries of the district.

In the digital advertising section, the Shanghai Digital Advertising Park will make a stunning appearance with an AI holographic interactive machine. This device can capture the audience's real-time movements and expressions, generating three-dimensional holographic images and allowing the audience to interact with their holographic likeness and experience the charm of digital intelligence.

Currently, the Shanghai Digital Advertising Park, the first in the central city area to serve the digital advertising industry, integrates exhibition, award publishing, financial services and shared office functions, attracting thousands of digital advertising companies.

From January to August this year, the digital advertising industry in Putuo District achieved revenues exceeding 20 billion yuan (US$2.76 billion), with a year-on-year growth rate of over 30 percent.

The gaming and e-sports section is equally noteworthy. Boke Technology's game art gallery and latest mobile game products have attracted the attention of many gaming enthusiasts.

In actively supporting Shanghai's development as a "global e-sports capital" and "city of game innovation," Putuo District has formed a full industry chain development pattern, gathering numerous quality enterprises. The Shanghai E-sports Championship has been held in Putuo for several consecutive years.

Meanwhile, the Suzhou Creek· Dream Cube project, developed by the Oriental Pearl Group, has fully commenced construction and will become another major cultural landmark in Shanghai.
