Putuo District-based company, Shanghai Shunho New Materials Technology Co Ltd, participated in the certification ceremony held on July 25 for the 39th batch of multinational corporation regional headquarters and R&D centers.

The Mayor of Shanghai, Gong Zheng, awarded certificates to the newly recognized 30 multinational regional headquarters and 15 foreign-funded R&D centers.

In September 2023, Shunho New Materials was recognized by the Shanghai Commission of Commerce as a foreign-funded R&D center. The company, listed on the A-share market, has been named among the top 100 manufacturing enterprises in Shanghai for 10 consecutive years.

In 2023, three foreign-funded enterprises in Putuo District were recognized by the Municipal Commission of Commerce as foreign headquarters. 

Shunho New Materials, GE Aerospace and Delonghi Electrical were respectively recognized as a foreign-funded R&D center, a multinational company regional headquarters and a multinational headquarters-type institution. 

By the end of 2023, Putuo had a total of 35 foreign headquarters enterprises established in the district.
