About Us:
As Shanghai's only provincial-level standalone public children's library, our institution traces its roots to the Shanghai Children's Library established in 1940. After operating at 962 West Nanjing Road (Nanjing West Branch) since 1958, we proudly opened our Changfeng Branch on July 19, 2022. Now running dual locations, we continue our eight-decade legacy of nurturing young readers, with both branches serving as vibrant hubs where children's laughter mingles with the joy of reading across generations.
