Putuo Experimental School Affiliated to Shanghai University of Science and Technology is a public nine-year consistent education school established through a partnership between the People's Government of Putuo District and Shanghai University of Science and Technology, with a focus on science and technology innovation education. The school always upholds a child-centered educational philosophy, establishing the mission of "educating people to achieve everyone's success" and adhering to the characteristics of "leading with science and technology innovation and integrating arts and sciences." It aims to enhance the quality of national curricula, integrate local curricula, and specialize school-based curricula to promote a coordinated educational approach, striving to fulfill the vision of "making every teacher and student's tomorrow better."

In the process of interdisciplinary learning driven by project-based learning, the school has preliminarily formed its unique I-DO learning model.
