Several agreements, including group contracts, were signed at the first worker conference of Changzheng Town in Putuo District recently.

It’s the first group contract in the information technology sector in Shanghai, aiming to set up a landmark for stable labor relationship between industry employers and employees.

The contract closely responds to social concerns and problems in employment, covering anti-employment discrimination, avoiding and reducing overtime work, guaranteeing employees’ rights to leave, and improving remuneration and benefits.

In Changzheng Town, an internet industry trade union confederation was established in December 2020, including 21 online technology companies within its jurisdiction.
