Third Putuo District Double Five Shopping Festival was launched at the Changfeng Cultural Exhibition Center on August 10.

Gu Jun, director of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce; Xiao Wengao, director of Putuo District, and other officials jointly launched the festival.

The Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce will continue to support Putuo to achieve great development and promote the recovery of consumption by providing more benefits and better service, Gu said at the launch ceremony.

Putuo will take the opportunity to bring more wellbeing to consumers, expand domestic needs and promote consumption, Xiao added.

To further fuel its business recovery, Putuo has launched various promotional campaigns and robust consumption stimulation packages during the city’s Double Five shopping festival.
