A market consisting of over 30 booths has opened in Ganquan sub-district, providing residents with another avenue to shop for and during the Spring Festival holiday.
It offers a variety of groceries, including deli items, dry fruits, alcohol, and festival packages and is attracting many customers.
The market also is a precursor for a new shopping center in the neighborhood.
The center, covering an area of 3,000 square meters, will be the first of its kind available in the region, sparing residents the trouble of at least a 20-minute walk to the nearest commercial area.
It will house multiple stores, including a 24-hour wet market, a convenience store, a pet shop and a fitness center to meet the daily requirements of local residents.
