A brand new immersive market “Wuan Shiji”, under traditional supermarket brand Lianhua, made its debut in Putuo District recently.
It promotes a new kind of business model that integrates the community, convenience store and eatery; where service and shopping experience are valued; and which is decorated in light Japanese style that attracts young consumers.
Over 40 percent of the products are imported and 30 percent of the food is made in the store. People can just eat in the store after purchase.
To serve part of the dine-in customers, a 100-square-meter area has been spared while sales data from Lianhua supermarkets has been used to select the most popular items that are put on shelves here.
