The Putuo branch of Shanghai Children’s Library is now taking shape with the base construction nearly completed.
The overall exterior design of the structure resembles a bridge, which signifies the connection between children and the city’s future and innovation.
Located in the Changfeng green land, the facility integrates many sorts of public cultural and entertainment events and thus upgrades the neighboring park.
Construction for the library, with a 16,000-square-meter area, began last year. The building process promotes the idea for flexibility, ecology and safety and the library, on completion, will serve children aged between 4 and 16 providing reading, training and exhibition facilities.
