The three-day UNFOLD Shanghai Art Book Fair concluded on Sunday at M50 Creative Park, gathering artists, publishers and workshops to soak in the art of books.
Held for the second year and having attracted about 8,000 visitors the last time, the event saw a four-fold increase in area so more participants could be involved.
A total of 187 units from 59 cities around the world, including Beijing, Hong Kong, Taipei, Tokyo, Seoul, Paris and Amsterdam, signed up to display their wares.
They covered a variety of design, photography, comics, independent magazine, independent bookshops, paper works and other visual products.
The organizers also used the public area in the park to give immersive experiences like craftsman market and a live concert.
