District library completes standardization process

The Putuo District Library has passed an appraisal of its service standardization effort this month. It is one of the selected public libraries to adopt 130 service standards in a trial.

The Putuo library has made a lot of effort to promote the habit of reading and is the first public library to target teenage readers with activities such as “Drift Bottle” and “Smart Library”.

A reader survey conducted in April shows that 97.3 percent of its readers were satisfied with library services.
