Environment officials from Putuo District set up a booth in Pudong Century Park during the Shanghai Bird Protection Week to show people how to protect birds and their habitats.
Activities in the booth included bird-themed puzzle games, bird knowledge quiz, and collection of bird stamps. People scanned QR codes to learn about Putuo’s ecosystem restoration program. They also received succulent plants, key rings and reusable shopping bags as gifts.
Shanghai has held the Bird Protection Week for 36 years to raise public awareness of wildlife protection and relevant laws.
